FRANCO DE VITA regresa con el material discográfico más contundente del año LIBRE

El viernes se estrena el video musical de la canción titular por todas las plataformas digitales
MIAMI (14 de octubre, 2016) – Franco De Vita se autodenomina simplemente como un “cantautor venezolano”. El dos veces ganador del Latin GRAMMY® deja los superlativos para sus millones de seguidores, quienes han hecho himnos algunos de sus éxitos como “Te Amo”, “No Basta”, “Un Buen Perdedor”, “Te Pienso Sin Querer” y muchos más que ha cantado a lo largo de los últimos 30 años.
De Vita es un cronista de la vida, un mentor quien no teme mostrar su vulnerabilidad. Ahora, con toda esa sabiduría de una vida bien vivida, nos presenta Libre, su primer álbum de estudio desde hace ocho años. Este disco incluye nueve canciones a las que se suman cinco versiones alternativas para un total de 14; en ellas plasma un mensaje y un recordatorio de que cada uno de nosotros es Libre. Este material estará disponible en formato físico y digital a partir del 14 de octubre.
Mañana también marcará la premiere por todas las plataformas digitales del video musical de “Libre“, el tema que da título al disco y su segundo sencillo. Realizado por la joven directora Nerea Marcén de Alicante, España; este cortometraje fue transmitido ayer por el programa vespertino Primer Impacto de Univisión.
Este video es “dedicado a los que han luchado y siguen luchando por la libertad,” y representa un homenaje apasionado de Franco De Vita para todos los héroes conocidos y desconocidos del mundo moderno.
Respaldado por un ritmo R&B clásico, en esta canción comparte su mensaje desafiante para estos tiempos de turbulencia: “Libre de mirarte a la cara, libre porque yo no miento“.
El primer sencillo, titulado “¿Dónde Está La Vida?”, fue lanzado el 12 de agosto y rápidamente se colocó entre las mejores canciones de su obra; el tema logra captar la atención desde los primeros acordes que fusionan el rock clásico con una fuerte presencia de guitarra eléctrica y metales. Con esta canción, Franco De Vita da una de las mejores interpretaciones de su larga trayectoria, retratando toda la angustia de una relación rota: “¿Dónde está la vida que nos prometimos, dónde la olvidamos, dónde nos perdimos?“… Libre también nos deleita con una versión de esta canción, pero al ritmo de bachata.
Próximamente también se lanzará esa canción que da nombre al disco, un segundo sencillo cuya letra es un llamado apasionado para que todos reconozcamos nuestra libertad innata. Respaldado por un ritmo R&B clásico, en esta canción comparte su mensaje desafiante para estos tiempos de turbulencia: “Libre de mirarte a la cara, libre porque yo no miento”.
Como acostumbra hacerlo en sus discos, Franco De Vita se dio a la tarea de componer cada uno de los temas incluidos en Libre; además de eso, él también fue el productor de todo el material. En su mayoría, las canciones fueron grabadas en Baby Noel Estudio de Alicante, España, con el famoso ingeniero Noel Pastor.
Y esos seguidores que se enamoraron de las colaboraciones en sus dos discos en directo, En Primera Fila, estarán contentos porque tres de las canciones de Libre son duetos: en “Ya No Te Creo” le pone sabor mexicano al cantar con Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey; “Desde el Principio” brilla con la voz de la veterana cantautora española, Rosario, y en “No Sé Nada de Ti” es acompañado por el joven talento Lorenzo Fragola, ganador del Factor X (Italia) en su temporada 2014.
Franco De Vita emprenderá una intensa gira para promocionar Libre que lo llevará a Los Ángeles, Puerto Rico, Miami, México entre otros lugares durante este mes para dar entrevistas a la prensa especializada.

FRANCO DE VITA Returns With Latin Pop’s Most Highly Anticipated Release Of The Year LIBRE

MIAMI (October 14, 2016) – Franco De Vita modestly refers to himself as a “Venezuelan singer-songwriter.” This two-time Latin GRAMMY® winner leaves the superlatives to his millions of fans who have made anthems out of his hits such as “Te Amo” (I Love You), “No Basta” (It’s Not Enough), “Un Buen Perdedor” (A Good Loser), “Te Pienso Sin Querer” (I Think About You Without Wanting To) and many more over the last 30 years.
A narrator of our lives, he’s like a mentor who’s unafraid to show vulnerability. With all the wisdom of a life well-lived, he presents Libre (Free), his first studio album since 2008. Its message is clear – that we are all free people. This album contains nine new compositions, plus five alternate versions for a total of 14 tracks. It will be available in digital and physical format on Friday, October 14.
Friday also marks the worldwide premiere of the music video for the title track and second single “Libre” on all digital platforms. Helmed by the promising young director Nerea Marcén of Alicante, Spain, this short film was televised yesterday on Univisión’s afternoon news and entertainment program Primer Impacto.
This video is “dedicated to those who have fought and continue to fight for freedom,” and serves as Franco De Vita‘s impassioned tribute to both the well-known and the unsung heroes of the modern world.
Backed by an uptempo R&B groove, he shares a defiant message for these turbulent times: “Free to look you in the eye, free because I don’t lie.”
The first single “¿Dónde Está La Vida?” (Where Is the Life?) was released August 12 and quickly took its place among the best songs of his canon. “¿Dónde Está La Vida?” grabs hold of us from the start with its classic-rock beat, along with its bluesy guitar and horn section. Franco De Vita gives one of the most wrenching vocal performances of his career, portraying the angst of a broken relationship. “Where is the life that we promised each other, where did we forget it, where did we get lost?” Libre also delights us with a bachata version of this song.
As is his custom, Franco De Vita is the composer of all of the songs on Libre, which he also produced. Most of the songs were recorded at Baby Noel Studio in Alicante, Spain, with engineering and co-production by Noel Pastor.
His followers who fell in love with his collaborations on his two En Primera Fila (In the Front Row) live albums will enjoy the three duets on Libre. “Ya No Te Creo” (I Don’t Believe You Anymore) brings the Mexican flavor, featuring Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey. “Desde el Principio” (From the Beginning) shimmers with the voice of the veteran Spanish singer-songwriter Rosario. He’s joined by the young talent Lorenzo Fragola, winner of X Factor Italy’s 2014 season, on “No Sé Nada de Ti” (I Haven’t Heard from You).
Franco De Vita is about to launch a busy promotional tour in support of Libre. On Thursday, October 6, he performed “¿Dónde Está La Vida?” at the Latin American Music Awards, telecast live from Hollywood on Telemundo. In addition, this month he will travel to Miami and Puerto Rico to give interviews with the press.
